I'm seriously thinking about getting one of these 3007WFP's because of Scan's stupid finance options. Why are they stupid? Because they're so freakin great! You can pay a deposit on an item, then not pay off the full thing for 6 or 9 months, with no interest! I don't quite have the money at the moment, and have a few crucial payments pending that I do not want to be refused!

Ah.. money, money, money... I could really do with some more right now, but I've been caught up in this whole buy-things-for-your-girlfriend thing recently. Let me just take a look at my bank statements... Hmm, looks like I've managed to spend a whopping ?370 in the past 3 days. Not good.

Well, I'm getting paid for the last time by Arjo on Wednesday, and on Thursday, I am officially an employee of Equant! This brings certain benefits, such as good training, more money etc., but disadvantages such as a short contract... This deserves a whole new topic because it's frustrating, and shouldn't be covered under Scan's financing options.

Anyway, great financing options... I'm wondering now, do I even have enough money to pay a deposit !!?? I really want to be the envy of the office, at least, for a while, or until Dell release their 4007WFP (made it up).

I've decided that I am definitely going to get this monitor. Seriously! I'll think about selling my 19 incher after buying this one. Hopefully it should be mine in the next couple of weeks. I will not get it on finance, though, I'll just pay for it.

And for those who don't know what they're missing, here is your standard 17 incher compared to the beast:

Laters!

This looks computer related, so I've moved it to the computers section.

Nice, might not be easy to run on, though.

It'll scale down well to 1280x800 if my system starts to struggle; and it will. To be honest, I'm not sure if my graphics card will support 2560x1600, but nobody seems to have confirmed it.

Some say that the X850XT-PE is a dual link card, and some say that it isn't. Anything in the Geforce 7 series or the Radeon X1 series will definitely be dual link, however, so I may need a new graphics card, which isn't much of a bother.

As for graphics card prices going down soon, take a look at the following Inquirer article, ref Quad SLI: http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=32013
