Hey guys, long time no... post?

Anyway, from my previous techious experience you all know what you're on about with computers.
I had to replace my motherboard a couple days ago and after finally finding how to change my fan speed from "bloody annoying" to "normal" I realised I had no idea what target temperature I should set.

So long story short, what temperature should I set it to? I have option from 40 to 75 degrees.

tyvm :)

Oh and Alien Swarm is epic, though does anyone know how to use the jetpack?

If it's processor temp, set target temperature to around 40-50C on a desktop, maybe a bit higher on a laptop (otherwise the fan will be unbearable in my experience of laptops).

No idea how to use the jet boots, I guess you just press 1.

Just set it on max.

If you're using your PC, then you're probably going to have something coming out of the headset/speaker, if not, it's either turned off as you're in bed(unless you're downloading something overnight in which case you can lower the fans manually) or you wont be in the same room as the PC. No real point in fussing around with the settings IMO :P

I've set it to 65 degrees, with a minimum speed of 61.5% (precise ;) ). I'd rather not have it on full all the time, just because my internet is rather slow so when I get any new games I have to leave it on overnight.

65 degrees seem ok?

Proccesor speed?
I'd lower that to 60 max, just to be on the safe side(under idle it should be far below that anyway)
