The 3DS is using a paralax barrier to give the 3D visual. so the screen will give different information to each eye giving a 3d effect. So cant wait :D the top screen is bigger and 3D. the bottom is a touch screen but not 3D. The 3D can be turned off with help from a slider on the side that can turn the 3d effect on or off. Also onboard is a flat analouge stick, accelerometer, gyroscope, 3 cameras ( one inside to on the lid facing outside so 3D pictures can be taken :D and a whopping 73 games have been confirmed to be in development such as MGS, mario Kart, animal crossing, professor layton, KH, resi, kid icarus, starfox and a remake of orcarina of time :D im well excited for this :D

Expect it to come down to like £180 before launch. Official dates put it at the end of march so :/

I'm most likely not getting one ever, don't see the point, still a dead/outdated device just being propped up with some 3d shit

Somehow, i don't find the price THAT high. Look at how much 3Dtv's+glasses cost and tell me this is a rip off.

Regardless, it doesn't matter, it's once again going to be the only handheld with brilliant 3rd party support, so it's once again going to be the only one worth buying for games.

Now to wait and see how much they'll charge for it here, probably like 250€, sigh.

EDIT: Yup, 250, what a load of bullshit. It costs 180€ in america, yet they feel like they can charge the price up by 70€? Insanity.
