iv been playing around with overclocking a bit and last night got a completly temp and runing stable overclock of 2.5 GHz ( form 2.2 Ghz amd athlon 64 x2 )(far from its limit ) but now after tuning on this morning iv had a computer that wont stay on 4 5 mins before windows locks up but even after removing the overclock it remains ands dos diagnostics show no oviouse reason y so just wondering if any1 has any thoughts of the problem could b ( not rulinhg out a software problem just felt its more likely hardware
.

live disk, underclock if to a bit see if that increases the time it lasts before dying and was there any difference in the time it took to die before and after restoring it to it's original settings?

thx 4 hlp but found the porblem was to do with my graphics drivers in a completly unrelated spaz of some kind of self corrupting file lol thanks 4 he ideas though safe mode was a good enouth test as prime95 ( comp torcher test ) was enoth 2 prove it was un related and probably graphics
