It's starting to get to me and google searches turn up nothing. my shadows in games look pixelated. I had this with the X850 on the family PC, I've got it here, no my PC. Drivers are up to date.

Noticeable on Company of Heroes shadows, Crysis, Mirrors' Edge....it's really starting to annoy me, and I can't find any help on the matter. Any ideas?

Is AA turned on and shadows on max?

I've never had any issues myself.

Also check the CCC and make sure it isn't overriding AA settings.

I removed the CCC I got so irritated with it. It is no longer forcing anything.

Anti aliasing does nothing.

It could be that it is still somehow set to force.

CCC just sets driver options, so as skillers said, could still be forced.

Also, how did the CCC irritate you?

I will, but the last time I forced anti-aliasing, etcetera, it did not fix the shadows issue. I recall doing this.

So I've read. I haven't tried Battlefield 2 though.

My point was that you could be forcing no AA to run.

Ah, but that doesn't make sense with all the other anti-aliased objects.

With the shadows, it is not just pixelation, it is as though they are distorted as well.

Just make sure you choose, wait what card are you using?

If it's any good, set CCC to

performance I I I I I quality

make sure most things are set to application controlled.
