I hate Apple Mac's because they are switching to Intel. Simple as. Pay more for less!!

I see no reason why they should go with Intel over AMD. Apparently, Intel sell their parts of very cheap to lock out AMD from selling to them.

Apparently, Michael Dell thought that AMD was too unstable for his company, and that Apple would be out of the computing industry before 04, or something like that. He also says that Xeon will have the upper hand over Opteron during Summer 2006. Boy is he wrong! LOL, I though Apple used to make their own CPUs, so why switch at all?

Apple used CPU's based on IBM's PowerPC architecture. And yes, that's a real advert! I thought it was v.cheeky.

I HATE ALL APPLE CRAP BEACAUE THEY ARE NAFF!!! (WITH A CAPITAL N) Even Ipods are rubbish, they break!!! I was going to get one but i got a better one, a creative zen micro. The flaw with Ipods id=s the batteries everntuallu break because they are lithium ion majiger. They crystalize and then are useless. My MP3 has one of those batteries but i can take mine out and replace it, whereas Ipods you can't!! ut they are a great bit of engineering, take the Nano for example. They are awsome, but the screens are rubbish and you can't replace the battery.

iPods do scratch very easily. Also, they cost FAR too much.

As for he batteries - they do use Li-ons, but they use such low quality ones that they break easily. I think there is also a problem with the chrger, meaning it doesn't stop charging, which also damages the batteries. Then, to replace the battery in it requires you to take it nearly completely apart, voiding the warranty, whereas good players, like Creatives, you only need to flick a switch to release the cover, and, hey presto, there's the battery!

I bought an iPod for my girlfriend about 5 or 6 months ago now, and we've never had a problem with it. Must just be lucky. Apple have always stood for excellent build quality and reliability.

I admit, Apple are excellent as a whole, especially the refinement of their PCs (it's the incompatibility I don't like - which is Microsoft's fault anyway). It's just they cost too much, and they make fundamental design flaws, such as their inability to be fixed or changed with ease (i.e. the iPod battery and sealed Mac units).

Thinking about it, you hear loads of complaints about iPods, but then again, they have sold way more than any other MP3 player, so much so that all MP3 players are officially "iPod wannabes" to the noob market. It makes sense that something that has sold twice as much, will have twice as many complaints.

Still hate them though - I'm not a sheep. And they could be a lot better, MP3 player's are not just about look, ya know...

So as for me hating Mac's, I'm considering dropping my computer in exchange for one.

My reasons?

Well, it takes up far too much of my time. It seems to take money away from me when I need it the most. It takes up quite a lot of space, and even with the new HSF installed, it makes a lot of noise.

I want a computer that works, and instead of sounding like a converted Apple geek, I just want a computer that's gonna be on a desk, that's going to let me browse the web, write documents, print stuff, and keep photo's from my camera.

I thought I needed a good computer because of the future I want with them, but I only use my computer these days for playing games and chatting to people -- things I won't have time for when I move home.

I'm not thinking about a swap until I move home, which I hope will be some time later this year, towards September time when my girlfriend has a job. I want a computer that's quiet, great for space constrained environments, and doesn't feel like it needs upgrades.. I want my girlfriend to enjoy using it too.

He's been cpnverted back to PCs now. You see, Aaron can never make his mind up, so unless he bought it straight away, it was nearly certain that he wouldn't get one in the end.
