Ok off the top of my head (even though i'm typing from it.) it's a toshiba Equium something laptop.

I believe it's a 1.73 GHz processor with 1 GB of RAM.

Yet amazingly the graphics card is rated a 3.0 by the index, and the memory is rated higher.

It's running vista home premium o.o.........

ok i'm experiencing memory problems and am about to run a program to say how to speed it up, but any more suggestions would be welcome.

There are other minor faults like worms world party failing to work but thats a worldwide issue with a unique solution for each person it seems.

Try speedboost. Plug a decent flash drive in and see if it wants to use it for ram. Works quite well.

I believe it does. Speedboost isn't as fast as normal memory, though, due to the constraints of the various hardware, but it is much cheaper (8GB pendrives are less than a tenner these days).
