My PC wont start with a Divided Drive Error or something. I was wondering how u could fix it?

No. I didnt split my harddrive or anything. Might it be because that i only had about 200Mb left on the disc.

Ah. I have managed to boot it and get rid of some memory. I know have like 400Mb on it. But now it says on startup HIMEM.SYS is missing. Does anyone know about this one?

Yeah, but i had it before. and i fixed it then. So why cant i now? I recognised a file name for a zip file that i picked up accidentally. I deleted it without opening it, but it still seems to be causing errors. It was called VxD or something like it

Yes, connected is right. You should really format and reinstall. The bes way to recover important data is to put th HDD in another computer and back it up to that computer. Thn return the HDD to the broken computer ad format and reinstall.

If i use the load with step by step confirmation, it comes up saying that there is insufficient memory to load windows. Can i delete things by loading in command prompt only? Can i delete specific files or not?

Hmm, that means you don't have enough space on your Hard Drive, which you have diagnosed correctly. You may be able to delete stuff using a DOS startup disk, i think the command is DELETE path (I.e DELETE C:/file.doc)
