Well DFI has been showing off their P45 Lanparty motherboards.

What interests me is the last board - a P45 based mATX board with full CrossFireX support. The only downside is that the PCI-E slots are locked into 8x due to space limitations. Also, it doesn't have onboard graphics, so it is actually a proper enthusiast board in mATX size.

Looks good, might be my new mobo if the reviews a good. Should overclock well being a desktop motherboard with the end chopped off, though we'll have to wait and see.

Yeah this is a really sweet board, and being a LanParty I would imagine it could overclock very well.

Yeah, I've heard good things about DFIs in the past, though recently they have been a bit offscope for me (Asus boards have generally been better). However, such a well featured mATX board, based on a full size chipset, is really going to kick ass. Heck, it's the only mATX board I've ever seen with a heatpipe, and MOSFET cooling for that matter! It's certainly going to be better than most available mATX boards. CrossFire is a nice addition aswell, seeing as I'm looking at the 48s, could make a nice upgrade path, especially with CrossFire's simple scaleability (any card combination, IIRC).

It will be interesting to see if any other companies (most noticeabley Asus, can't really fault them for superb mobos) produce similar boards.
