It deserves its own topic so I'm starting it first

It is rumoured that this new chip featuring Intel's QPI will be released in Q4 this year... Well, if you're in to spending £1k for a CPU then I guess that's OK because this is the Extreme Edition I am talking about.

For those of you who don't know - QPI is basically ripping off the technology that AMD have been using for years in their x86 CPU's and basically making it better!

Nehalem is looking interesting, lots of huge changes - native quad core, onboard memory controller (well AMD have been doing this for years) and scrapped FSB.

Shall be interesting to see how much it pwns.
