Anybody else have the problem with iTunes, where, no matter how many times you close it down, it just starts back up again?

I don't use iTunes cos quite a lot of my media is in wma format (most the stuff I've got off other people). However, I quite often close WMP and it continues to play music for infinity.

Ah I get that too, sometimes. Just gotta kill off the process. I ended up killing the iTunes process and it was fine after that.

Yeah, I know, I just find it quite funny. The cool thing is my media controls on my keyboard still work, I think.

In the case of WMP, if it keeps happening, see if theres anything in the View -> Switch to Other Program list, AFAIK thats what allows WMP at least to run when closed and allow Media Center to run.

Yes, so you can switch to programs that use WMP. via some sort of API I assume.

I assume that's not on XP/WMP11 as I can't see it?

Somethings wrong with you then, because I have WMP11 on XP and i see it, though its grayed out when nothing else is using it.

Oh, yeah, I see it now. I'd swear it wasn't there yesterday. Infact I'd swear that menu was half the size. :S
