Just spec any PC you want, the only restriction is compatability (plus nothing that don't exist). I'll get the ball rolling;
2x7800GTX (OCed) Athlon 4800+ dual core CPU (OCed) nForce 4 SLI mobo (Asus A8N SLI Premium) Couple of DL-DVD-RW drives (fastest available) Huge RAID0+1/5 array Super powered PSU Creative Xi-Fi soundcard (OCed? :lol:) 4GB high speed RAM (OCed) All watercooled with Pelts! High res TFT - Apple cinema display/20" TFT or moniter array (If SLI ever supports it). Bang&Oulaufsen 7.1 speakers costing more than the rest above!
Try to beat that!
If it goes wrong - :U606-vuurwerka1:

approximate cost in pounds for each item on that list (same order);
700 - both cards 450 150 100 400 - yes HDDs cost a fair bit 150 (if watercooled) 300 600 1000 - Pelts cost a bombshell 1000 - but, trust me, it's worth it (I've got a 600 quid 20"TFT) :dooya011: 5000 - OK, slightly excessive speakers!
Total ?9,750, so ?10,000 aprroximately! :yikes: Loose the speakers and get a decent 500 quid set of PC speakers and it would look much better!

LOL. Right, this topic/forum is all about extreme hardware and speed. The bag thing belongs in the modding forum.
For those of you who are wondering what the "bag thing" is, it's building a fully fledged PC into a backpack (not a laptop), so you can carry and use it everywhere. The display would be using projectors onto the insides of (sun)glasses and the input would be a modified trackball mouse and speech to text microphine (attached to monitor glasses with speakers). It could also have perihiperals, such as a printer, in the bag.
Oh, it would be easier to use brown paper!

Yeah, LOL, but why don't you start a new topic in modding?

Hmm, no, that's not really a PC then, is it. That's more a Mac. Though if we're talking about stability, I'd like my PC not to crash whenever I try to do anything with an avi file.

This is another bump, just wanted to know how your opinions have changed.
It's obvious dual graphic card configurations are here to stay.. Here is my new dream PC:
Athlon FX-62 4GB Corsair DDR2 (3-4-3-9) 2 x Nvidia 7950GX2 2 x WD Raptor in R0 Dell 3007WFP Tagan 1.1kW In a lovely Wavemaster
Whatever else I missed out isn't important to me. Oh, don't forget the decent Asus mobo.
