Going to got a Samusung TFT first, good review in this months CPC. My CRT is on the wobbly. One question though. If i got one of these cards or whatever derivative,

would i see a full on improvement in gaming performance. Or, because of XP, would it be marginal due to the OS?

You would notice the difference

You would see the difference, but you wouldn't be able to use the DX10 stuff, not that it runs well on anything, anyway.

At that price it's probably quite a good card.

Yeah that was i thought. That does seem a good price Don't plan on going Vista until i have to.

I do believe, though, that it slightly underperforms the 1900, however at that price as a stopgap it should be great.
