Okay, after re-installing my Windows and installing the Mobo drivers, for some reason my sound keeps dying.

I thought this was because of me wanting to install my AV to USB converter and it screwing up my sound.

However, I fixed that solution by doing a system restore. This took my omp back to how it was before I installed it and it worked fine. Now for some reason it has gone totally spacko again and I can only get Mumble to work with sound.

No games or FireFox work >_< And I cant work out why :/

Anyone have any ideas? Before anyone says I have updated my sound drivers so :P (Atleast I'm 95% sure I have).

Recheck the sound drivers to be 100% sure.
Check the cables incase they're not plugged in properly.
You could also try and older driver, it may be a faulty up to date driver.

If all else fails, go to http://www.asksibecauseheiswin.com and ask for help.

I'm on XP

It cant be cables because some sounds work and others dont. Mumble works, Steam notification works but Firefox doesnt etc...

EDIT: Found out it was something to do with my webcam drivers :|
