So im attempting to get a new PC monitor.
The last one i got was when the flat screens had only been out for a bit so its not that big and such.
I dont really know that much about screens, it seems you can get VGA which is your normal one, DVI which is a bit better and obviously the HD ones. Im basically getting a new one for the main things to make them look nice and shiney and im going to use the old one for email and the net, using a dual screen set up.
(My graphics card is HD)

Response time

Now i've seen 1ms, 2ms and 5ms screens, is there much difference?

Type

I've seen crt, LCD and TFT ones, whats best, middle and the worst?

Size

I want a bigish one, 19 or 20 inch that sort of thing

Which one

Anyone got any ideas on a screen for about £150?

Thanks :)

DVI and HDMI are essentially the same, except different plugs and HDMI does sound too.

You won't really notice much difference with those response times.

Obviously, CRT screens aren't the thin type of display. As for LCD/TFT, I have a feeling that lots of places mislabel TFT screens as LCD, but I could be wrong.

22" Widescreen is the sort of screen you're looking at in that price range.

I don't have any tips, the one I've got is terrible (Dell 22"er).

Yeah i was just using CRT as a "yeah thats the obvious one im not gunna get because whats the point" sort of thing.

So from the first quote i have 22", and dont worry about the response time, umm thats better than i though :D
