The SourceTV bots need to ahve immunity to all admin commands, including, but not limited to, kick, ban, switch teams etc.

I feel kicking the Bot undermines some of the features of our servers and shouldn't be possible, even to top level admins.

I agree, it would certainly be a pain if the bot then missed out on recording some awesome event.

Do they still record even when they've been set to a team? And do they record from that perspective (ie from the spawn room)?

I beleive it should, see as it doesn't spawn due to a lack of class (on TF2, anyway).

Either way, it does need protecting, as (even though it was amusing) votes have been put up for kicking SourceTV itself. This shouldn't happen.

Well... do what you like with the source tv as long as it isn't put on a team so I can't join that team as well

There is no real problemous situation unless someone decides to go on an admin spree.
