All new applicants must post an application here by copy and pasting the following into a new thread and filling in the details (with a space after the end of the [/b]). Code: [b](Game) Name:[/b] [b]Steam Login Name:[/b] [b]XFire:[/b] OPTIONAL [b]Other contact details:[/b] OPTIONAL [b]Games played:[/b] [b]Referrer:[/b] OPTIONAL [b]Other info:[/b] OPTIONAL Your Steam login name is needed so we can add you on Steam, using your current nickname won't work. If you are applying for our non Steam based side (such as the Wii), Steam isn't necessary, but please make sure your intentions for joining are clear. For games played, put any game you play, though we specialise in CSS and TF2 here. Referrer is for if a current member (or members) of the clan referred you to us. Other info is open to anything you may feel we would like to know, real name, age, hobbies, your opinion of your skill etc. Please note that not applying with the above structure will lead to a poor start, as it shows either a lack of reading of important information or being unable to follow relatively simple instructions (which is essential for teamwork and such). Application Process Please not that currently this is mostly handled by myself at present, though this is only temporary and will be extended soon. Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by myself and if we like your application (more than likely) you will be subject to a 1 week trial period. During this period your activity will be watched, on both the forums and playing games with members of our clan to be assessed on whether you would benefit the clan. Activity is important as otherwise we will just be gaining dead weight, and that is no good for us. Attitude is also important as we are a fun clan and like to keep everything happy here. During this process I would appreciate it if existing clan members posted reports (into the appropriate thread) on when they play with the applicants and what they think of them, to help make the decision. After the week is up (or before, if you show lots of enthusiasm for us, or alternatively show us that you are unsuitable) you will be accepted or rejected, at which point you are free to use the tag [TCHS] and will be added to the various groups to allow you access to clan information. The thread will then be left open another week (for congrats/welcomes etc) before being locked to prevent spam and confusion. Any suggestions for improving this system, feel free to post them in the other thread - Clicky. Note that threads marked [OLD] are from the old system, I moved them here to keep Clan Public cleaner. We have a couple of applications from before this system was devised but I put under rules similar to these, and they are not marked. |
