I'll certainly be looking out for this on the 2nd November. Lets hope that Rockstar don't make the same/similar mistakes to what they did in GTA IV...

The trainer was released 8 months ago, why can't I find it? :P

Anyway, I hope they improve a few thing:
Better PC version (and sooner)
Less realism focus - GTA is fun cos it's stupid.
In the same vein - better car handling. I hated the driving in 4 because it was stupidly hard to go fast.
More open world - I miss San Andreas for its vastness.
Smaller, more memorable cities - I can't remember a single thing about the GTA 4 city, yet I memorised loads about the GTA3 series maps. GTA 4 just seemed like a mass of roads between my current location and my destination. (Note, as I bet someone will say it, these last 2 don't contradict - having big fields and highways can be cool, and the world can be big, but when the world is big and packed with city it becomes very dull and unmemorable).
Less of that social nonsense. GTA is a game about running round shooting lots of stuff and stealing cars, I don't want to take some whiny <I AM INSULTING PEOPLE> bowling.
More checkpoints - some of the missions in GTA4 were so frustrating because you would start them, drive for 10 mins to your destination, go through it for 20 minutes then die and have to do it all again. I actually didn't complete the game for about a year after I reached the final level because of this.

Assuming this is all in-engine as is how Rockstar usually do things, and assuming it releases like GTA IV did (unoptimised horror) I doubt I'll be able to run this at a decent framerate. Looks pretty good though.

Good trailer.

Consensus going around atm is that it's Tommy Vercetti (VC main character) in San Andreas (though only Los Santos - the first island - has been confirmed by the trailer).

Looks good to me so far. A lot brighter than 4, some nice open scenery areas and possibly more fun cars (though hard to confirm from the trailer). Also: Jetski (called the speedophile 2000), planes, animals.

I'm just hoping they don't bodge the PC version this time.

Also, Met, it shouldn't be any harder than 4 to run - bear in mind that the console hardware hasn't changed (same reason why most new games these days run on high on a 3 year old comp still).

Keep in mind that this isn't a PC exclusive...

I'm fairly sure it will be well optimised and look only marginally better then GTA IV.
