So, I have been waiting for this Mod, for Years. If you remember Freelancer, it is an older Space Game. You get a Ship, start flying around, kill Stuff, trade or do Missions. Freeworlds is a Star Wars Mod for that Game. An awesome Mod, they've changed a lot, improved a lot, added a lot. Once the Mod is finished and released, they'll also release Files to host own Servers. Since their own Servers has a maximum of 200 Slots (that is the Maximum a Freelancer Server can have, but I think their Server or Servers have only 100 Slots) and these Servers contain a lot of Rules, I was about to ask if some of you would like to Host a Server for that. But, it is quite large and since we'd only be a few of us doing so the chances are low, unless we do something like Minecraft or someone else hosts.
Regardless, I'd like to post some Pictures and Videos of the Mod in this Thread. I am definitely going to join their Server(s). There will be Roleplay, Rules and a large Community. Of course you are invited to play with me. Considering the Programms you'd need like FL Hook and more, it'd be much better just to read Rules, accept them and have Fun on someone else's Server.
To explain the Mod a Bit more. There will be a dynamic Economy, this interests me a lot since I really enjoyed Trading on other Freelancer Servers. There will be different Sides you can play as, like Sith, Jedi, Smugglers, Rebellion, Droids, Pirates and more. There are countless Ships for each Fraction and they all have their own Style and Weapons. I am not sure if they've changed the Shooting to be more Star Wars like or left it the old Way, which is pretty much like Black Prophecy is right now. Means you'd probably want to use Mouse and Keyboard. I am not sure if Joystick or Gamepad are actually supported.
To play that, you'll only need the original Game called Freelancer. It's quite old, thus cheap. It also has no Copy Protection, if you know what I mean.
