Dominion is the new game mode coming to LoL, with a game style similar to classic Battlefield or DoW2 (5 capture points and a ticket system). It's set to be faster (<25min) and more skirmishy, without creep farming. Players start at level 3 with 1375 gold and earn gold much quicker.

Here's the first video I've seen of it, though I can imagine we'll see more over the coming days as it's being shown at Gamescon.

From when I first heard about this game mode, it has sounded interesting. I can't wait to try this. (I reinstalled LoL but I don't think I've played it since March or something lol)

Yeah, I've been playing LoL again a little bit, but I can see this mode being the one I play the most. Fast matches and potentially less team rage (as roles become ill defined) sounds like it could be a lot more fun and more convenient to play.

The release has generally been said as "shortly after PAX" (which ends on the 28th)
