Well news about them is the scouts is shit and the pyros is alright.


Pyro volcanice axe shard: -20%, Ignites on hit AND for the moment burns till dead or healed (not sure if glitch or intended)

Scout's Sun-on-a-stick: +35% damage, -40% damage vs non-burning players


So yeah the scouts is useless unless you follow/work with a pyro which tbh doesn't happen too much.

And although the axe has unlimited burn people seem to prefer the axetinguisher.

Finally any weapon given out via the rift promotion is listed as genuine in a dull green. This is because after march 1st promotion ends everyone can craft them!

195 damage on a burning player (assuming the reg works, and melee reg is the worst of it all) or setting people on fire for a long time (again assuming the reg works)?

Yeah, doesn't take much thought to work that one out :P

valve keeping up the fantastic standard of pyro upgrades i see, wouldn't want to make the class too difficult to play, 1 button is pretty reasonable, 2 if you cant use binds.
and just wondering.. why do they need so many random axes and silly melee weapons to burn people? they have a flame thrower already....

scout weapon is completely worthless as per usual.

Wait, + 35% damage, then -40% against non burning players?

So... Is that +35% against burning players, or just in general... Cause otherwise seems pretty pointless to then take 40% away again O_o

Update

Pyro axe.....NERFED.....burn was made limited, no other changes. the axe now doesn't compare at all to other pyro weapons.

Scout bat....slightly better......now only 10% les to all enemies with 100% minicrits to burning ones.....still crap though.
