Well I've been catching up on the old news (hence a lot of spam from me lately) and one topic that was hot for a bit (don't know if it is still) is medal of honor and if it is appropriate. I tried to find a good article for this, here is the closest I could find:

http://kotaku.com/5628741/gamestop-pull ... -inclusion

My question is... is this game appropriate, or where is this line where things become distasteful rather than good entertainment?

My thoughts is, its a game, if you don't like it, don't buy it, its exactly the same as MW2 last year in this aspect.

I think there's nothing wrong with military stores not selling the game. If members of the armed forces want to play it they can buy it elsewhere.

Congratulations sensationalist media on giving this game free advertising!

Seriously, the only issue is that they've named stuff after real life rather than "generic terrorist group a". I don't see the problem, people need to learn to discern reality from games.

Also, Met, the issue with them pulling it is that I believe the stores in question are one of the few, if not the only, source of games for deployed personnel.

So bored of how many games get exposure for one thing. Meaning they will sell millions more copies. Not saying it's a bad game in anyway, I've not played it. Just it seems easy just to go LOL Russian terrorists poisoning your tea ;o and as a result get free advertising on the game.

A game is fantasy, it has references to real life occassionally but I doubt anyone would ever say yes this is how it is / realistic (yeh btw, I think a soldier did single handedly win WW2 by himself DOT DOT). It's as ridiculous as getting upset civilians get killed by poison gas in batman. It's a video game. Don't like it, don't play it. Personally don't like stuff like Saw. So I don't watch them.
