Isn't age of Empires one of the best PC game??
It is so cool and great to play!!! The elephants are cool!! But does anyone like the cheat to get the cars?? I know it spoils the game but they are funny when they fire their guns!!
How do the siege engines move? because they have wheels but have nobody to push them!!! :pistoles: :schild30: :sport16: :sport67:  :wut137: :writers_block: :new_smilie_colors1: :party115: :louder: :fireworks: :drown:

Yeah, AoE is great! I used to play properly, then have some fun with the cheats, they add that little bit extra to the game!

Haven't had a chance to play it myself. From what I've seen, I think they may have over-complecated it, which I find can ruin a game.

i havent played the orig aoe but i have seen screenshots, i have played aoe2 and aoe3, and i think that aoe3 is too different from aoe2 for me in its button layout so it took me ages to get used to it

wghat are you all saying AOE3 is great still play it now i do. i (probably stupidly) dnt do button controls but i nopticed no difference from the last game to this one except the very obvious look graphic and the whole new age and units stuff.
it adds lots to the game and i do no a number of times i have been about to die and lose and a single shipment of some troops has managed to save me
at least until the guys friend comes with his army
the expansion pack for it should be coming soon and i wonder how they are going to do it because you got three indian tribes and i dn't know how they will be able to incorperate the shipment idea to them
in answer tp your question i only liked the cheats in AOE1 not 2. 1 had rocket car, the funny troopers, baby on a tricycle, etc AOE 2 had one care that looked like it had a spasm whilst chucking pepper every where
these are my thoughts :)

I only have the original. And i beleive the cheats are "Big Mamma" for one of the cars and "Coinage" for 1000 gold, "Woodstock" for 1000 wood, "Pepperonipizza" for 1000 food and somehting else for the rocks..... Use any decent cheat site and ull find them really wuickely.

Yeah i suppose. though i always used the cheats to build a wonder and won the game by default! Anyway, Star Wars Galactic Battlegrunds was based on the same engine, just the cheats were a bit different! U could get a Death Star and Simon the Killer Ewok!

I haven't pl;ayed but from what I have seen and read in gaming magizines, I is extrememly similar to Rise of Nations so if you have a lower powered PC get Rise of Nations instead.
