Post subject:  I hate EverQuest 2! BIG PICTURES WARNING!
I don't really hate this game, I just wanted you to hurl some abuse at me about my favourite game so that I can hopefully disprove many EverQuest myths...

So basically, I want somebody to tell me that this game is crap but to elaborate on it enough to justify why it is crap. It is crap because...

It didn't hold my interest after i hit level 80, most of which was soloing, i could not stay up for hours on end liek you and dan and did next to no raids, after purposefully staying up and awake to get my myth update rather than go to sleep with my GF and then the group failed anyway.

I actually passed out abou 3:21 ish and woke up 35 minutes later. Up till that point i was shaking barely awake and unable to string together much of a sentence verbally.

Bad experiences i shall not willingly repeat.

Passing out from playing is just crazy! (OK I might have done that a couple of times, but all good experiences)

As for me, I have not raided since the day when we had that alliance (RAQ). My raiding days officially ended as well as my time playing my main toon (Faeward) because I just didn't enjoy playing that class any more, partly because it was made to level with Skyath who no longer plays... a sore memory.

Since then, I play every day still but I play at my own pace. I am not looking forward to hitting 80 because it will mean that people want me to raid (I am level 67 now and outparsing some level 80's...) However, I do not find the raids fun or enjoyable at the moment because of the time it starts and the time it takes up... I totally feel for you.

I have learned that players should never feel like they HAVE to raid. It WILL stop you from enjoying the game and you will become bitter after so many wipes... :( I guess only raid if it is fun for you and at a time that suits you :)

There are many more European guilds providing people with mythical updates at more reasonable times now :) like 8pm GMT. This is something I will do.

I have no personal opinion on eq2 because I've never played it and really all I do is play css anyway.

I stopped playing for the general reason of enjoying it too much in a group, and certainly when i got rid of my heal spec. But then it got a little solo, having you done so much more than me, ment i had to constantly catch up. Got a little boring, and with getting a hell of alot of new games over the time i quit, i lost intrest.

As for falling behind - there's no such thing because of mentoring, unless of course you want to PvP together :(

Note to everyone else: It is not possible to engage in PvP or assist a friend when you are mentored. Annoyingly, you cannot instant-unmentor or drop from group in order to stop mentoring to attack your foe, you just need to wait to be killed and hope that the enemy does not grief you...

Update: I have subscribed myself a trial account - as in, I have sent an invitation from my main account to another email address - I will demonstrate how good the game can be if someone gets invited by me...

It's cool dude I think the invite is valid for 30 days :)
Install instructions are a bit vague, I would recommend the original loader instead of the "Station Launcher" by going to http://www.everquest2.com/?reinstall

Update: I have leveled a Troubador to Level 10, ready to be mentored by me so that you can get a feel for the game. Feel free to delete the character and start again, I can level with you, but it will be much faster for me to mentor you once you hit that Level 10 mark (and for you to get rediculously good loot and experience and achievements and alternate advancement experience!)

I have mailed the username and password to you Met.
