This is one of the best games ever! Running round shooting, jumping in cars, flying off and blowing up stuff! What can beat it.
The best thing about it is it's freeform! You don't have to do what it wants you to do, you can just go on a rampage. The only way it isn't freeform is that it doesn't let you progress to far away from the story plot, by somehow blocking off the next areas. After you've got that far, however, you aren't restricted to go back! There's just so much to do!
So, what do people think?

yes we have, but its such a good game series that it deserves another topic
does anybody know if there are going to be another one after san andreas?

I think they are planning a GTA 4. Vice City and San Andreas were based on the GTA 3 engine, so aren't true sequals.
Have we been through this on another forum, we were talking about it in the racing poll.
EDIT: Oh yeah, silly me, there's one in the computer games, aswell!

There iz gunna b another GTA, and mercinaries is a better game, same sorta game engine

new 1s called liberty city stories and its on the psp, its really good btw, also while im here the psp's alot better than i expected it to be .

Yeah, I've heard of that one, think it's on the DS aswell. The PSP is technically good, but Sony are ruining a lot of people's fun with their upgraded firmware (stops 3rd party apps).

GTA is one of the best games ever!! The cars in it are great and the way they blow up is cool!!! Are the orange people convicts on a moring jog? because they are bevery where!!! And has anyone found the monster truck kill frenzy or the mini car kill frenzy?? The mini car is so fast !!! But you can not use it after the kill frenzy is up. You find it under a camoer van in the last city.
Ooo, by the way, this is on Grand Theft Auto 1.

Hmm, I've never played GTA 1, sounds cool though. Since GTA 3 (so VC and SA are also like this) it has been a third person game (not top down) where you look from behing the guy in 3D.

But in GTA3 they had the option to view it from top down but then scrapped it in VC and SA. Shame, that. I think the action was too fast paced, and too dependant on the 3D engine to keep it overhead.
