It has recently come to my attention there will be a new game for Korean's only at this moment in time, called CS:O. Valves answer to COD4 apparently.

However, it is noticeable doing research we should not be getting too excited, as CSS seems a much better game with better graphics certainly. Those who may get the game will see a wider array of weapons and "more characters" available to play! However, getting the game would be taking a step back from CSS towards the older days of CS.

I'd heard rumours about a CSS2, which looked interesting. That looked like it had very nice graphics, but they looked fake (not actual game graphics).

no they are not, as i said above, css still has better graphics. this new css will be more like cs (1.7 i think....) so css will still remain dominant anyway.

If that trailer is real, they are incredible graphics, but I doubt they are real. However, I can't find any mroe info about CSO than that trailer, really, so if you have a source, please tell us.

Putting counter strike online into youtube u get some footage of the supposed beta, looks a lot like cs, so maybe ppl r trying to get some views on their videos. in fact, im fairly certain its jst cs1.6. However, this game isnt actually being made by valve as far as im aware, bt in fact by Nexon Corporation.

lots of info here, basically there is a lot of confusion whether this game is a remake of 1.6 for koreans or plans for CSS2.....only time will tell.

out of interest, css had a lot of problems with launch, v gd game now, bt when released it had a lot of probs with hit boxes, still makes it v unpopular with many cs players.

Yeah, the videos on Youtube are just CS1.6 with online in their name for the sake of it.

It's a remake of CZ apparently, so it will be singleplayer too. I'd assume they put some fairly decent graphics on it, too.

Im star struck by CSO... looks awsum to me. I shouldnt fall for the trailer but i have done. But im wondering... WTH is that massive explosion!! =O!! if that was a H.E thats just crazy man. I love how im the trailer. How the charaters move. As if it was real life unlike css. Such as their crouch.. however like you guys said. CSO is a remake of cs1.6... so im not very satasfied with that.
