HOWEVER!!!! jsut come across news of info released by nintendo prior to thier conference.
Nintendo has revealed Wii MotionPlus, an attachment for the Wii Remote that offers true one-to-one movement for upcoming Wii games.
The Wii MotionPlus attaches to the end of the Wii Remote and, combined with the accelerometer inside it and the sensor bar on the top of your TV, gives what Nintendo is calling "more comprehensive tracking of a player's arm position and orientation, providing players with an unmatched level of precision and immersion."
According to Nintendo, "every slight movement players make with their wrist or arm is rendered identically in real time on the screen, providing a true 1:1 response in their game play".
What could this mean in terms of games to be revealed at Nintendo's conference tomorrow? All will be revealed here...

Halo Wars is an RTS (aka Command and Conquer) set in the Halo universe. Spartans are what they call the super soldiers (like Master Chief).

Gears of War came out with the 360, but GoW2 has only be previewed so far. It's due for a Winter launch, I think. Seen some previews, looks pretty good, and they should be bringing it to PC sometime ^^

A Duke Nukem Trilogy has been Confirmed for DS
The trilogy consists of three episodic games, entitled Critical Mass, Chain Reaction and Proving Grounds. The first will be released in Summer 2009.

Konami has rleased more info on how rock revolution will be palyed on the wii and DS. Wii version will allow you to play "air guitar" and "air drums" with wiimote and nuchuck.

Tomb Raider : Underworld hsa been given a release date. Eidos revealed that the game will hit shelves on 21 November for Wii and DS. The Wii version has an exclusive archeological tool kit that allows players to excavate hidden areas and secrets with the aid of a compressed air gun, acetylene torch, chisel and pliers.

Halo wars would be immense, if they put it on PC :\ i just think they should leave RTS's alone and away from the consoles. Apparently Civ revolutions was done well but it's turn based so i can see why. i just hope it's got good controls i suppose.

Wow i only just heard of The Last Remnant but it sounds like it may be a good RPG game. All i heard was it entails a completely new Combat system and it's being developed by Square Enix.

I watched Nintendo Press Conference Live on thier website.
So i will be writing this as im watching it.

Just watched the creator of Animal Crossing talk about teh wii version. THe wii version is called Animal Crossing: City Folk. As well as the usual town aspect there is also a city option exclusive to this version. The city allows you to sell items and even visit gracie (the designer giraffe) and get your hair stlyed or wear a mask that resembles your mii. Animal Crossing: City Folk also comes packed with the Wiispeak, a microphone that was shown to sit on sensor bar tho i suppose it can sit anywhere. Wiispeak allows you to talk to friends when they visit your town or vice versa. THis opens the wi fi play even allowing you to make new friends and talking to current ones Animal Crossing : City Folk WILL be available by the end of 2008.

Grand Theft Auto : China Town Wars is coming to DS this winter. EXCLUSIVE!!!

Reggie Fils Aime then talked about the Enhanced wii motion plus for the wiimote which allows for 1:1 motion with movemt of remote. This device was shown with..... Wii Sports : Resort.
The effect was AWESOME! it needs to bee nseen to be belived but it does allow for ACTual 1:1 motion The games shown were dic throwing whihc was basically frisbee with your dog trying the catch it XD. and a game similar to Wave race which allowed you to turn holdng both wiimote and nuchuck and flick back for throttle. The wii motion plus was then shown with sword fighting and was unbelievable. Will be availbale next spring.

Then it was Shiggys turn wearing a mario shirt showing off Wii music playing the saxaphone with his wiimote attempting to paly f zero music XD and a drummer in the background using wiimote nunchuck and balance board. Several instruemnt such as sax, drums, violin, piano, guitar, and percusion, thats all that was shown but ther is alot more.Drums is a seperate mode and includes lessons. so anyone can effectively learn.
Orchstra is also a sepreate mode as well as others. The games also allows you to create your own music videos. Then several people form nintendo came on stage and played Super Mario theme tune XD tehy could have worked on thier timing tbh but it looked great fun XD

minor games taht featured were Call of Duty, RAving RAbbids TV thingy and Spore and Star Wars the Clone wars based on the new movie of the same name.

Only real thing then is the Motion Plus.

Anyway hasn't E3 gone to shit anyway these past couple of years and now sucks more than the entire population of the world drinking with straws anyway?

Little Big planet was covvered next. Didnt get it tbh said something about creating your own games within the game uniquely playstation was main theme for this wasn't clear on what the game was about. This guy needs to be told that nobody cares about the Ps2 anymore and that talking about the Playstation "family" when advertising a PS3 game is not going to fool the press. I think the reason sony also concentrate on ps2 and still release games for it is becuase so much of thier market have not gone on to purchase the PS3. This was reinforced with the annoucemnt that there is a new ps2 bundle with lego batman and justice league heroes DVD for 149 dollars (desperate much???) amazingly tehy did say they will be dropping prices of some PS3 games to 29.99 dollars such as assasin creed and rainbow 6 etc.

Kirby Super Star Ultra will hit the DS on 22nd of september and sadi to be updated version of an old SNES game.
And the pokemon ranger title is called Pokemon Ranger : Shadow of Almia

Dunno what the hell this E3 stuff is but Ive known about half of those games and see quite a bit about them freaking months ago

E3 used to be the big gaming convention of the year. Companies would go there and make big press releases, have new trailers on show, maybe a demo machine or talk about some new features. It's not as big anymore, but they still doa few press releases and stuff.

I see.. Well basically everything you'd want to know on some of those games was released freaking ages ago Might just be more specific dates and stuff on when its due out and what its about exactly.. But meh seems a waste of time tbh.

Yeah, usually they release new trailers and stuff for E3, and talk to the press more during it, so you get more information around this time. However, it's a lot smaller than it used to be, so you don't get anywhere near as much out of it.

I doubt ill get anything out of it really xP
