Just wondering what upcoming games people are likely to be buying either on release or soon after.

For me;

Definitely;
Left4Dead
X3 Terran Conflict
Red Alert 3

Maybe;
Far Cry 2 (Free roaming FPS = win, but I'm not sure)
Crysis Warhead (Maybe, only cos it's cheap)
Tiberium (it's on Play for 31/10, but I thought it wasn't due for a couple of years)
Mirrors Edge (I'll see the reviews first, looks great, but could be a failure)
Empire: Total War (I'm 50/50 regarding the TW games)
Dawn of War 2 (everyone loved the first and I kept meaning to get it)
Prototype (seen some stuff about this, looks interesting)

OK, those last 3 aren't actually until next year, lol.

New everquest 2 expansion xD
Crysis would be cool if I can get a new PC..

This year is nowhere near as Epic as last year. Last year we had Orange Box, Halo 3 and Mass Effect thats like the ultimate combo for Xboxers

Freeze, last year was a particularly good year for all gamers, but we've got a pretty nice lineup this year aswell.

And when I said Winter, I meant from now till January (basically Xmas).
