Ok, so getting this game was a problem in itself, which isn't a problem with the game itself, more of a problem with crappy ol' Amazon. But anyway, I recieved this game after a few months of anticipation and sat down to play it. I sat for about 6-7 hours and missed dinner and supper. I was having alot of fun. Then the next day I sat down and then 3-4 hours later, I'd completed it.
The graphics have been noticably upgraded, and the combat, though limited to 4 moves, is much more fluent. The addition of 'Tag' moves, or 'Fusion' as the game calls them, is a nice touch, alot better than the old MUA1 ultimate moves, which were, to be honest, crap.
I've yet to play it with friends, and there's a good reason for this, so do bare with me. It's not that I don't have friends, but I wanted to play through the game, unlock the characters I can, so my mate's'll have their pick. I did that, beat the last boss, then the 'next mission' was to play the game on the next difficulty.
"Alright" I thought. So I turned off the game, went to college, came home and it didn't auto-save my progress. "That's a bit annoying, but oh well" I thought to myself, then I tried starting a new game, in which I realised, all my unlocks, were now locked.
The game doesn't carry unlocks from one save file to the next, and entering a cheat to unlock all characters, prevents saving, which is quite a big downfall. The idea of the game is to play as your favourite Marvel characters and go on missions with your friends, not run around trying to unlock people as freaking 'Ice-Fag' or the crappy ol' Daredevil. This is quite a dissapointment. Expecially since now I either beat the WHOLE level BEFORE the last boss, and the last boss himself, which takes around an hour, or me and my group play as ass characters.
So in summary: -Game's graphics are good. -Gameplay's good. -Character system (Unlocks not transferring to another save file) bad.
