I'm practising to get better as Sniper (mainly because I love the character, but also so I can beat my brother at what he does best ;)) I have a lot of difficulty aiming precisly but I think that is due to my ball-mouse being rubbish.
I need help in killing Pyros though or how to get away from them- they appear out of nowhere, have a large amount of health (due to them cheating and getting the backburner) and are too fast. A Medic is supposed to be 107% speed with a Pyro at 100%. I find that Pyros are able to keep up with me and burn me even though I am out of their range and moving in the opposite direction (I run as soon as I am attacked by a Pyro). Anyone know a reason why?
The blutsauger isn't as big a help as you would think because the backburner can still crit from the front and the combined with the large amount of health would mean my death before he is taken down to at least half his health. The obvious answer is to have a decent patien who protects you well but since I'm not going to find one of those soon... I need a backup plan...

Not all pyros cheated for the backburner, I certainly didn't ^^

Anyway, you receive a slight movement penalty running backwards, but if you turn away from the backburner it will make you pay. The blutsauger will help as it effectively increases your help, making you survive longer, so a teammate could help you (go in the direction of your team and you might run into someone who will kill him). The chance of a crit is not great enough to make the normal syringe gun better than the blutsauger.

Yeah, I like the way they listen more than other developers do. Well atleast they seem to.

They are trying there hardest to respond to the growing TF2 community. I think they must have got a lot of annoyed replys towards the medic update, and in all fairness they responded to it very well. They made sure the Pyro update didn't upgrade his existing weapons but really changed the way the pyro can be played. Also they responded to how people didn't want to dedicate towards the class to recieve its unlocks.

They are doing pretty well, and its free content so you can't complain :)

The only thing they could really change about what they're doing, IMO, is to release a few packs at once to prevent the spam. The reduction of required achievements certainly helped.
