You will have probabily by noticed that the forum has undergone a few changes within the first 24 hours.

New URL

The first of these would be that we have a new url. This is http://techious.no-ip.org:6969 and from now on we would like you to reference and get to the forum via this new address. The direct link to the forum is http://techious.no-ip.org:6969/forums but by going to the main websites url, you will have access to other features that myself and Grim Reaper will be adding over the following months. Some of these will hopefully be bringing parts of the old Computers and Consoles (the previous name for Techious) but the most part of this will be based upon the Techious clan and all that it has to offer.

Updated Forum with a New Design

However, the main change to the website is that we have updated the forums to hopefully iron out most of the bugs that were in the old forum, but also it has a new theme and design which looks so much better than the old ones. This new design has many changes to the old one, starting off with locations of things such as the information next to each post about who posted what, and also a new smily set with things like and although some of the best such as the twisted and of course Mr. Green had to remain how they were.

We have worked hard on this update (just like the geeks youd expect from people like Connected eh? ) and we hope the new forums are much better and bring many new users and topics of discussion to us. However, if you still have any bugs with the forum, please either personal message either myself or Grim Reaper and we will try to solve the problem. Alternatively, post a reply here and we will try and fix these as soon as we can.

Wow, this is more awesome than I expected!

As for the emotes... It looks like the PHPBB team only half did them...

Yea, they might change them in some later RC.

Only problem I've noticed so far is the size code change... Might have to fix that some time.

Looks pretty good.

Centre codes and some image tags are all messed up, its like the other upgrade all over again....

Oh and when can we go back to the Black and red? I miss tht colour scheme!

Grimmy fixed tags now. And the colour scheme, well you'll get that back when we find a black and red colour scheme i guess, or build one.

I am missing the black and red just as much as you my friend...

Here's a blast from the past...

Some bugs with tags, not as many, only really customs and the size code, cos it works differently now (percentage not font size number).

As for black and red, it will be soon.

And all upgrades from now should suffer no problems, as this is a RC, meaning all future upgrades are fully supported.

Couldn't we just downgrade to phpBB2 and be happy again?

That would be a lot of hassle, and themes will be released soon.

I go away for a few days, then get to go on quickly and then all everything changes!!!

Also, I have a request: Can you give us the power to change the text under our avatars, you know the 'Eagle Eye' bit.

Umm no. However as you are a mod, you could ask Grim to edit it for you, that might be a good option for you.

Filefront is modded... Many forums have that feature, but I cannot install it on this one as it doesn't exist.
