Entry one: Background

I am proud to be a Vasari warrior! we are easily the strongest and most technologically advanced empire. With strength comes easy conquest. However my brethren have awakened something that was better left alone. Even now our homeworld lays empty and silent along with increasing numbers of colonies. As such we Vasari have had to make a tactical retreat from our colonies and fly deeper into unknown space.

As of our current position, we reside on the planet Nuin in the Altias starsystem.

Normally we would have continued except for the presence of two trader factions who decided to not surrender to us upon first contact. They will have to be dealt with. Also a second Vasari offshoot of an empire has been heard from. The Infamous Serak Warriors, the traitors who fled rather than died from the first major war the traders won. Destroying them will be a sweet rewards after dealing with the trader nuisence.

***Game Starts Here***

Homeworld Nuin

The planet was running on basic systems but we've reached a time to expand further. A Capital ship factory was decreed and thoroughly built to schedule. No sooner had work began on 'The Maw'. Meanwhile we had to cope with more menial tasks of setting up mining posts to afford future developments. As expected the extraction of crystal is tedious and largely unprofitable. We'll have to do something about this.

Entry two: Exploration

We have requisitioned two Jikara Navigators, the fastest ships in our production line. Once assembled they were crewed and sent out to explore this system. We need to find our enemies if we're to stand a chance of destroying them.

Nearby we found an asteroid belt, of which we recieved reports o metal deposits being present. On the other side a colonizable desert world which had a small population. Perfect for enslavement. However the populace their was paying body guards to protect them. We'll soon show them the safest protection is us.

The Maw is now complete, ready to colonize worlds with its population control centers. Armed with a squadron of fighters and deconstructive nanites for any hostile force it encounters.

Using our new enforcer, We have started operations on the nearby asteroid belt. Not before dispatching two smuggling ships in the vicinity to join the dead.

Entry Three: Knowledge and Defense

Our Researchers have advanced us along the path of becoming unstoppable. Technologies that improve our sensors allow us to detect anything one jump away, as long as they are Phase jumping towards us. Also we have finished improvements to our engines and now the exploration of other star systems lies within our grasp.

We struck a deal with the peace-loving people of the near-by desert planet. Who informed us of an ancient artifact on a dead asteroid. Luckily it was there or there could have been serious consequences. Still no deal with the Vasari is ever perminant as they will find out.

However it will all have to wait as we have detected pirate raiders who are coming to raid our colony. A pity they will be unable to serve us as slaves. Space corpses don't make very good slaves you see.
