I recently bought the DVD to Hitch Hikers guide and it rocks!

I read the pre-word to the book, and it says that the Radio Series came first, then the book, TV and movie (which was written in the early eightie by Douglas Adams).

Just a peice of useless trivia for you!

Also, none of the versions have the story in the same order, or things happening for the same reason! Which makes it more interesting to read/listen/see the different versions.

Rather random and pointless comment (except it's a quote), though I suppose it fits with the tpic of this thread, which is pointless and random (I'm on about the content of HitchHikers Guide, which is how it is meant to be).

Yeah, it's good, not the best movie ever, though. Still really funny.

The radio series is the best of the media they use.

Though I love the flying dolphins in the film which sing 'so long and thanks for all the fish'.

i've got the t.v series and its a lot better than the film, alos got the books. its very funny but there are funnier things that ive got on dvd, such as red dwarf, little britain

Yeah, often movie remakes aren't as good as episode remakes, as they have to cut a lot. The radio series was great. As were th books. Haven't seen the TV series.
