Basically this says it all really:-
'We salute the improvement of the human genome
by honoring those who remove themselves from it.'

Lol, yeah, they are amazing. It's so funny how stupid people can be.

I can't find a good a really good exmple at the mo, but if anyone does, post it here.

years ago, i read some, might read it the whole thing now, yeh pretty funny, we did one as our tutorial assembly.

The classic one is sitting on a branch of a tree and sawing it so they're on the bit that falls off.

Do u remeber some of the ones that our teacher told us?

Like "(Name of whoever) was the first person to circumsize the globe"

and there were more but i remember that one...

They're not Darwin Arwards. Darwin Awards are people who kill themselves in a stupid ways;
"improving the world's gene pool by removing themselves from it".

But those were good aswell.

Whats the point in killing themselves? I dont get it. I think the Ignobles are better....

The Darwin Arwards are a mock award for those people who kill themselves in a really stupid manner. Just read some of the stuff on the website given in the first post.
