The hell is wrong with england?

A tie vs Algeria and the USA, barely winning vs Slovenia Rooney scoring no goals? It's far from what i'd personaly expect from a football powerhouse and the craddle of football.

Honestly... Their stellar defence is the only reason they are in which makes me wonder... What the heck is going on with their offense? They scored a whole TWO goals in three games, the hell is going on?

No teamwork what so ever. Its so much more aesthetically pleasing to watch a lot of other teams in the cup play.

You clearly have watched no games to comment England rely on their defence. They have been terrible all across the pitch. Today was an average performance against a frankly unimaginative Slovenian side. You deserve to be out by the way as you showed absolutely nothing that suggested you deserved to get through...

USA top the group as it should be on the basis of the group games.

Lots of sides have been poor at the world cup. England are a hugely overrated team but not because of the reasons you stated lol. Rooney had a shocker against Algeria but he's not really a striker who's meant to score goals anyway. He links the play etc. Yes he's scored a lot of goals for Man U this season but that was playing a completely different role to the one he's playing in the England team.

Could continue but cba. England showed a decent enough performance, could easilly have won 2,3-0 today.

P.s. I'm not an England fanboy - before the WC started I had them out in round 2 ^^.
