I think a lot. Enough to consider this a hobby. I think about the mind, how people work, politics, games, ideas, problem solving.

Here's something to keep you interested, a puzzle game:

http://www.shockwave.com/gamelanding/hyperframe.jsp

There is a small advertising video at the beginning. Ignore it and it will pass. Then, click on the 'Mind' button. Complete all 40. I did. And it did not take too long (part of an evening and part of a morning). Often when completing some of these, or quite a few of them, it consistently felt like luck, as though I had merely 'stumbled' on the solution. However the sheer amount of combinations and the amount of times this happened have made me rule out luck as the primary completion factor. Hence I cannot explain why I felt like that. It is a bit odd.

This thread was more intended to discuss thinking rather than weird hobbies. ><

Pretty cool you consider thinking as a hobby. The more you think, the better you become at thinking, I think :P

Everybody thinks about things differently and everybody performs differently in the ways they think. Its been hindering in my mind that I should try and improve my ways of thinking somehow. My speed and memory are just awful and I would love to improve on them but I know it takes time and.......a lot of thinking ><

An issue for me is certain 'obvious' things. I'm sure you've seen it where I have failed to grasp some obvious point that someone (Si for example) is trying to explain. It makes me appear slow. However I am not stupid, regardless if my odd attitude.

What I question, is why do I sometimes not grasp certain 'obvious' points, and instead lock on to something more obscure, elusive or hidden?

Because your mind is bored from too much thinking. Take whatever thought u have and look into it rather than fantasising, this may help your brain to settle down [ofc thinking alot isnt a problem... but iff u stray in the 'abyss' to much when thinking, might help xD>]. ofc looking into your thoughts will increase your knowledge of the stuff u think about and u can leanr more about your interests xD.
