My workmate was chucking some old stuff out about 3 or 4 months ago and handed me a hard drive. He said, "Do you want it mate? You could probably use it in your PC at home" So I accepted it. I noticed that it was a SCSI drive, and that I don't have a SCSI card. But I didn't say anything to him.

Anyway, it's been sitting in my drawer ever since then, and I haven't even bothered to do anything with it, ask if anybody wants it etc., so I did a quick check on Froogle to see how much it was worth.

Shocked

?250!!

It's a Seagate Barracuda ST336737LW, a 68-pin Ultra 160 SCSI drive with 7200prm speed and 2MB buffer. So I've put it on Ebay with a starting bid of ?50. You can find it with pictures here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0072527438

Well.. there were no bids on it for days, so I lowered the starting bid to ?30 and it ended up selling for ?31. Never mind, it's still a gain Smile
