Well i was bored, so heres some eyecandy for you, and what i can expect to see in the next few years. First up, trams!(also, enlargment of some roads to avenues, 1500 buildings have already been torn down)

Supposed to be in service by 2015(Two lines A and B to start off with, with a third one coming in later)

What it would look like in 2025
But now onto the better stuff, skyscrapers! oh and various other thingies.
Kristalna Palača BTC(Crystal Palace BTC)(90,5m)

Supposed to open in may 2012, a 28 story business complex with a helipad on the top will house the headquarters of BTC(basically, they own the biggest shopping center in Slovenia, probably the richest company based in Slovenia), also next to it a further NINE 70-160m skyscrapers are planned, so this area should be pretty interesting in the next few years.
Športni Park Stožice(Sports Park Stožice)

3.500 space parking garage(some of it dedicated to a P+R bus route), 16.000 seated football field(largest in slovenia) 12.000 seated multi purpose sports hall(largest in slovenia) a shopping centre, and a park! Thoguh the main dome looks a bit like a turtle, construction is to finish at the end of may, and the first sporting events to start taking place in July. Basically, the biggest sports complex in Slovenia, though i have no idea how the roads are going to manage all the traffic....
Situla(Urn)(72m)
A 26 story residential and business complex located in the city centre, close to a rather big structure also under construction, they had a lot of issues with water when they started digging a bit too deep and actually manage to accumulate a bit of a "puddle", I'm not joking, it has become quite a bit of a running joke saying they should just use it as a swimming pool.
R5(Do you really need a translation?)(59m)

Yes, it's already built, but i thought i might as well leave it in here, a thrid of a pyramid shaped structure deservers a BIT of recognition, right?
Novi Kolizej(New Colliseum, or just theatre if you feel like it)

A multi purpose building housing an opera and concert hall, potentialy also a small cinema, with an estimated cost of 150 million €, should be finished by 2012.
Stanovanjska Soseska Brdo(Brdo Housing Complex)

A futuristic and environmentally friendly housing complex, not really much to say about it
Celovški Dvori

Another residential and business complex located next to a major road, yeah, i can see that doing well, on the plus side it has a lot of greenery and it looks rather nice, apartments are already for sale and they're just putting up the finishing touches.
Severna Mestna Vrata(North City Gate)(2x 72m)

Supposed to be built already, but this is slovenia, so nothing gets done on time unless it's handled by the city itself, gotta love it.
And now the best for last
Emonika City Center(60 & 100m)

The biggest construction project ever undertaken in the country, this multipurpose complex will include a 100m skyscraper with offices, the main train and bus station, a swimming pool complex, a park on the roof(40m above the ground), and a 60m "smaller" office-filled skyscraper, along with the whole building comes a complete refurbishing of the traintracks, and a 10 story parking lot, construction has just started a few days ago, who knows when it'll be finished though....
Well even if nobody ready this, i hope you enjoyed it
