Gozzer just sent me a payment for the Valve order and Paypal didn't take any fees. We think this is because he went into Paypal, chose send money and then the reason as "Personal - Personal Payment Owed". We think that any personal reason wouldn't charge fees.

Set the recipient as [email protected] and the amount to whatever necessary.

Removing the Paypal fee would be much nicer for our running.

EDIT: Found this. It works for Personal transactions with accounts tied to a bank account.

Heh, that was actually due to the method you let Paypal take money from you and not due to this payment method. I believe they have a page about the different methods and their associated fees somewhere on their FAQ.

54p Was not a big deal really might just be cause of the card type I dunno but not like it charged me a lot.

Yeah, the reason we say this here is it does add up to a fair whack with lots of donations. Talking ~£50/year.
