What would be your ideal firts car?
Mine would be a Moris Minor, donesn't matter if it is Traveler. Or a Ford fiesta Mk 1 or 2

I want a Citroen 2CV! they cost like a tenner and then cost like 300? to insure! They only have a 600CC engine but thay dont need power because the only way 350kg!. And they are a hell of alot of fun to drive. just dont try pulling tractors in them....

LOL. It's a bit unbalanced with the insurance, just buy 5 and don't bother insuring them. Destroy one, use another.

I like the sound of that Citroen, but I'd probably go for a Corsa 1 or 1.2L. Something cheap and tacky.

At the moment I have no need for a car, as I only need to transport myself, don't need to go above 60mph, and don't carry things around with me. And in the past year, I haven't needed to. The moped I have at the moment easily does 60mph, goes about 180-200 miles on five squid, and gets between traffic. It's only ?190 to insure, and all other expenses are trivial, so I want to hold on to it for as long as possible.

Nopers! If I wanted portability, I'd go with a craptop. My lump stays on its new desk in my room; in fact, I'll need to take a photo of it and update you on the new appearance of mah setup... It's just the PC's moved from the left of me, to the right of me. It's the new main feature on my desk!! It's lower down, and it's further away, so it's an excellent noise lowering solution :) The printer is underneath it, also... Must stop talking about it, this isn't the right place!

Stuff laptops, get a barebones system. Nearly all the power of a desktop in a lot less space.

a little off subject but i don't know what car i would have but my bro got a mini that is not undriveable untill its warm enough to spray outside so as soon as he passed his driving test he got a rover metro gta which he cant drive cause he cant afford the insurance it so he is wasting petrol going up and down our drive

my bro has a 1.2 Renault clio from about 1980. It works, but im frightened stiff of riding with him. He drives like we're on the RAC Rally! Its scary sometimes! But a hell of alot of fun

Ha ha. Ver bleeding funny. It probably wont break down at all. My dads best mate made a metro with two engines, one at the fronty and one at the backy. LOL! He linked all the gears up aswell, it was so cool.

the mini is one of the best cars ever produced exept for the new BMW minis that are not named right if i got a mini it would be black with blue trimings an a white roof posably with a custom design on the roof they are so cool and much better than most people think the the problem is that they are so popular now they cost at least a 1000 if u dont want to fix it a lot and when u do have to fix them if u want it in any way reliable they cost more to fix than going to buy a good reliable car brand new but some times ul get a great deal from somone that dosnt know the value of them and fet a semi working one for less that a hundred thoug even people in the know can give great deals like my bros austin thousand he got it for 350 when if my bro striped it down and sold the part he could get over 400 for the alloys alon well i think im ranting a bit but
