My dog has been really bad recently. He's been running off over to the farm and eating stuff.

I stay away from home a lot, and when I come back I notice that he is getting fatter.

He made himself sick tonight because he was eating so much stuff from the farm.

I had a shower at about 23:30 and he was scratching at the shower door (the shower room is downstairs) begging to be let out. I guess he needed a pee. I was just drying off and getting my clothes together when I tried to call him back in, but he is nowhere to be seen in the garden.

I have spent the last hour looking for him, calling, whistling, running around shining the beam from this rediculously bright halogen torch, trying to listen to where he might be. I nearly got stuck in cow crap. I still can't find him.

My fear is that he will literally eat himself to death.

I don't think I can sleep until he is back in the house.

Give me some comfort people.

there's a special bowl on there or something as well that causes the dog to eat slower or something :s.

erm, i would honestly say see a vet for proffessional advice.

as for the dog, i'm sure it will be fine, we all eat too much from time to time right? hope he comes back soon safely though. sorry i couldn't help very much.

Probably a good point DHR. We need to take them out for walks more often, but what with it being so coooold...

yeahh take him for like 5min walks everyday and he'll soon stop his habit =p

Try to speak with the people of that farm. what about when they put some Rat Poison around?

Buy Dog Tread Mills, Ive Seen Em, there CoooL. And Maybe Take Him For A Wee, rather Than Let Him Go On His Own?
