"There's a "Slenderman" ARG-type story going on on youtube. The plot is that a guy's friend Alex was filming a movie called Marble Hornets, when he noticed Alex was getting neurotic. He would film everything, even when not running a scene, and Alex turned the tapes over to the friend, and said to never mention them again; Alex then moved away.

The main character has been posting snippets from the movies, and they are very creepy and unsettling - many of them have Slenderman either directly haunting Alex, or subtly in the background. It's all very moody."

"Those are all creepy in their own right, but then the uploader got himself a twitter account, and seems to be losing sleep and feeling the paranoia that Alex felt. Also, to add a fun interactive component, an anonymous user named totheark has started uploading cryptic video responses to Marble Hornets, that are getting crazier as the entries go on.
