But I'm trying it anyway! I'm trying to make a deathmatch map in a day for this evening in an attempt to get something released instead of rotting in the background.

Lost an early layout to a crash, however I attempted to rebuild it from memory. I'll keep you all updated...

I've now done the walls, and I'm onto the ceiling. This is actually quite tricky because I'm having to build it around the 1st floor, so I can't simply copy and paste the floor to the roof for later tweaking. :P

Floor textures are damned hard to align. The fact you don't fall through it is enough for me for now. I'll fix it as one of the last things (on a rather large list).

Estimated release time: Around just before 9, I'll be watching Heroes though, so I'll send it to either Si or Skillers via x-fire.

Known issues:
1. 'Your textures suck' - screw you dude, I made this in a day and I'm not that good with hammer.
2. 'You can walk through your lights noob' - that's because the ceiling is low and if I made them solid you'd complain that you got stuck on them.
3. 'Omg liek your map is so bland' - Same answer as 1.


EDIT: Note those are not aimed at anyone in particular it's just me trying to be funny and probably failing.

I wouldn't have as many combine balls (alt fire with the pulse rifle) or explosive because the low celing make them overpowered.

I'll remove some of the machine gun grenades and some of the combine balls. I will however add in some normal nades and possibly add a few more explosive barrels. If you see someone chuck a nade or barrel, you grab it with the grav gun or run. It's intended to result in death anyway. :D
