Yeah so I figure I am actually going to try and make a css map.. Depending on how fast I figure out this silly SDK program.

Ideas are welcome but first I think ill just fiddle with it and try make something random..

I reckon you would be good at it. Hammer is easy to get in to and you have good ideas for maps. You are also a good player and I think you know what would make a well balanced map.

Should be interesting. I will be watching! No ideas for you, though, I'm afraid.

Well I was trying to get into it but I think I need aaron to show me the basics first as its not really doing want I want it to do.

But even then can't imagine it being much harder than using things like photoshop or pro desktop.. So it should be easy to get into when I can see what im doing..

The way I've found which works well (and which I try to stick to) is to take it in stages. Work on a large grid size to begin with, get the main layout done. Then work your way down, adding smaller and smaller details, until you're there.

Try and draw out a plan on paper, it really helps.

A random idea from me is something that randomly occured to me:

Ladder racing! You go faster on ladders in css, so why not use ladders on tracks and have players 'race' against each other on them.

Not really proper CSS, but, well, it seemed like it might be 'fun.'

I would have done that anyway but i was trying to just fiddle with things earlier and there wasnt much success xP
