Because I want to learn what you know, did you make that ramp using vertex manipulation?

I can do that, but if you did something else to make it I'd like to know for future reference.

I used the slicing tool.

The ramps that are filling in where hopefully the curved stairs will go were made using the slicing tool, cloning and carving.

Additions I'd like to make to this map later on: fire escape from top, second and first floors to the ground (car park area makes sense). Enclosed staircases on top and second floors, first floor and ground floor is an open atrium and will be well lit with some glass.

Ah, I remember this, someone on the hlfallout was telling me about it.

I was going to use it for windows.

Yes this technique is very handy for windows... especially for those Velux ceiling and roof windows where they can be on all sorts of strange angles.

That error occurs when it hasn't properly stored your account details on it.

I think it can happen thus:

* If you close steam incorrectly

* If you chose the logout bit when exiting steam, rather than just exiting it.

Unlucky.

That would figure. The last time I played CS:S on it, it blue-screened. Oh, and the time before that.

(I was playing CS:S on there because I was playtesting a map)
